The GCs and other executives at our latest virtual gathering could not have been more clear: ESG goes well beyond window dressing in their world and it is only a matter of time before some very real ESG heat is felt by law firms. Just as GCs are being held firmly to account on ESG by their organisations, then so should their suppliers. A significant area of focus for GCs is surely an opportunity for the whole legal sector to secure a seat at the table.
